Jerith Bathroom Remodeling: The Los Angeles Owner’s Guide
If you own a home in Los Angeles with a Jerith shower enclosure, tub surround, or bath accessory set, and something has failed, you’re likely looking at an installed replacement cost between $10,620 and $33,040 for a full bathroom remodel, or $945 to $3,540 for a single vanity installation. We stock Jerith-compatible hardware, tracks, rollers, and enclosure parts, and we can usually match your model within one visit. Most Los Angeles homeowners discover a Jerith part has failed the same way: a door that suddenly drags, a track that’s picked up a wobble, or a frame that’s let water sneak past the threshold into the subfloor.
Rowan Construction Group is an independent Los Angeles contractor. We are not affiliated with Jerith, but we have worked on enough Jerith enclosures and bath hardware across LA County to know which parts fail, which ones interchange, and which models were discontinued in ways that complicate a repair. That knowledge goes into a written price before any work starts, under Clause 1 of the Haven Standard.
Which Jerith Models This Applies To
Jerith manufactures bath enclosures, shower doors, tub doors, and related hardware in a handful of series lines that have shifted over the years. The compatibility problem most Los Angeles owners run into is not the brand name, it’s the track profile. Jerith has used at least three different roller profiles across its sliding tub door lines since the early 2000s: a narrow nylon wheel on a flat track, a wider poly wheel on a beveled track, and most recently a cartridge roller that seats into an extruded aluminum channel. If you replace a roller with the wrong profile, the door will hang, bind, or jump the track within weeks.
To identify what you need, look for a small etched or stamped label on the interior of the frame, usually near the top rail or on the stationary panel edge. If the label is gone, measure the track width and the roller wheel diameter. Bring us that measurement, a photo of the track end, and the door’s overall width and height. We will match it. For most Jerith tub door rollers and towel bar brackets, a quality aftermarket equivalent performs as well as OEM, but for a handful of models, the OEM part is the only one that seats correctly. We stock both and will tell you which one the job actually calls for.
Signs Your Jerith Bathroom Remodeling Is Failing

- Door drags or catches mid-track. A worn roller wheel develops a flat spot and stops rolling, which turns sliding into grinding. Left alone, the flat spot chews into the track and you’re replacing both parts instead of one.
- Track wobbles when you pull the door. The screws holding the bottom track to the tub deck or curb have loosened, and in Los Angeles homes with older fiberglass tub decks, the underlying material may have cracked from repeated stress.
- Water pools at the threshold after every shower. The weep holes in the bottom track are blocked, or the vinyl sweep has hardened. When the sweep fails on a Jerith sliding door, water runs under the door and into whatever is behind it - drywall, subfloor, or the framing below.
- Frame corners show white oxidation or pitting. Aluminum frames in Los Angeles bathrooms with poor ventilation develop corrosion at the joints, especially in homes near the coast where salt air accelerates it. Once the anodized finish breaks down, the corner blocks start to flex.
- Glass panel rattles inside the frame. The setting blocks or gaskets inside the frame channel have compressed or disintegrated. The glass is not about to fall out in most cases, but the movement stresses the screws and seals until something else fails.
Before
AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included
Installed Jerith bathroom remodeling in Los Angeles typically runs $10,620 to $33,040, depending on what has failed and how far the damage extends. If you’re replacing a single vanity as part of the repair, that line item runs $945 to $3,540. A tub-to-shower conversion falls between $4,130 and $11,800 when the enclosure failure means the tub surround has to come out.
Every quote we write includes the part, the labor, the written scope, and the written warranty. We do not price by the hour on this work. The range exists because some Jerith failures are a 45-minute roller swap and others require pulling a tub surround, replacing water-damaged substrate, and re-setting a new enclosure on a rebuilt curb. You will know which one you have before anyone picks up a tool, because the price is written first.
| Jerith Repair Scope | Los Angeles Installed Price Range |

| Full bathroom remodel including Jerith enclosure | $10,620-$33,040 |
DIY or Call Us?

Some of this work is genuinely safe to address yourself. If a towel bar bracket has pulled loose, tightening the set screw or replacing a plastic anchor is a ten-minute job. Cleaning a track and clearing the weep holes with a toothpick is also reasonable. But anything involving removing a glass panel from its frame, re-seating a door, or working near a tub deck with concealed water damage crosses into territory where mistakes get expensive and dangerous fast. Tempered glass does not break easily, but when it does, the fragments are small, sharp, and everywhere. And a shower enclosure that leaks slowly for six months can rot a Los Angeles subfloor before you ever see the stain.
If the track is worn, the door is dragging, or water has been getting where it should not, call us at (470) 298-9650. We will bring the right parts, write the price before work starts, and document the visit with photos you keep.
FAQs
A Jerith tub door roller or track in a Los Angeles bathroom lasts roughly 8 to 14 years depending on water quality, ventilation, and how many showers the household runs per day. Hard water in LA shortens roller life, and homes near the coast lose frames to corrosion faster than inland homes.
Most Jerith roller, track, and hardware failures can be repaired without replacing the entire enclosure, provided the glass and frame are intact and water has not damaged the tub deck or surrounding substrate. When the frame is corroded or the deck has rotted, replacement is usually more honest than patching. Call (470) 298-9650 and we will tell you which situation you have.
A single roller or track section swap takes 45 to 90 minutes on site. A full enclosure replacement or tub-to-shower conversion takes one to three days depending on the substrate work underneath. You will know the timeline before we start, because it is written in the scope.
We stock common Jerith rollers, track sections, sweeps, and brackets on our trucks, along with quality aftermarket equivalents for the models where they hold up equally well. For unusual or discontinued Jerith series, we order the OEM part and schedule the install once it arrives. We also work with KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone for the surrounding bathroom remodel scope.
