Available Franchise Territories
Rowan Construction Group runs on protected territories, not open turf. When you claim a market, it’s yours. No other Rowan operator gets assigned inside your boundary, and the brand does not hold territories in reserve to resell later. The first qualified owner in a market gets the map, the name, the Standard, and the lead flow that comes with it. Right now, twelve states are open. First mover advantage here is not a slogan; it is a structural fact, because once a protected territory is signed, it is gone from this list.
Open Markets
These are the states where Rowan has not yet assigned a protected territory, which means the entire state map is currently unclaimed:
- Texas - the single largest home construction market in the country, with metro growth in Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio running at a pace that keeps remodel backlogs deep.
- Florida - roofing and building-envelope work are year-round needs here, driven by hurricane seasons that reset homeowner demand on a schedule.
- California - the ADU market is codified into state law, making the home additions line a durable, permitting-driven pipeline rather than a discretionary luxury.
- Georgia - Atlanta’s suburban ring has added more single-family housing starts than almost any other metro in the Southeast, and remodels follow starts.
- North Carolina - Charlotte and the Triangle keep posting net in-migration numbers that push remodeling demand well past the national average.
- Arizona - Phoenix and Tucson’s resale inventory skews toward homes built in the 1980s and 1990s, which now sit directly in the replacement window for roofing, windows, and kitchens.
- Tennessee - Nashville’s home prices since 2015 have reset what owners can justify spending on renovation, and the market has not cooled enough to change that math.
- Ohio - Columbus and Cincinnati are steady, older-housing-stock markets where kitchens, bathrooms, and windows cycle through replacement on predictable timelines.
- Pennsylvania - Philadelphia’s inner-ring suburbs are dense with pre-1960 housing stock that now needs the kind of fixed-scope work Rowan quotes in writing.
- Colorado - Denver and the Front Range carry a premium on reliable trade labor, and a written-price model stands out where time-and-materials billing is common.
- Washington - Seattle’s metro core and Eastside suburbs fit the Rowan buyer profile exactly: homes bought at high prices between 2015 and 2024, owners who research before they contact.
- Virginia - Northern Virginia’s older inner-ring suburbs mirror Philadelphia: dense, expensive housing stock with a growing backlog of kitchen, bathroom, and addition work.
How Territories Work

A protected territory means Rowan assigns you a defined geographic area, and no other Rowan operator may market, quote, or crew a job inside your boundary. It is exclusivity in writing, attached to your agreement, not a verbal understanding. The territory is defined by counties, zip code clusters, or municipal lines depending on the state, and it is mapped before you sign, not after.
Reserving a territory does not work like a waiting list. Rowan does not hold a market open while someone thinks about it. The process moves from qualification call to territory map review to agreement, and the territory is considered open until the agreement is executed. If another qualified owner signs the adjacent county while you deliberate, the map has changed, and the boundary you wanted may no longer be available. That is not pressure; it is arithmetic. The territory system is finite by design because the marketing spend and lead routing are built around exclusive territories, and the numbers only work if the boundaries stay locked.
Once your territory is assigned, the brand routes all organic and paid leads from that geography to your operation. You run the local business. The Standard is identical everywhere: written price before work starts, signed change orders before any change proceeds, documented photo record on every visit, background-checked crews, and a live person answering the phone.
