Join Our Team
Here is what a typical project week looks like at Rowan: you show up to a job where the scope is already written, the materials are already sourced, and the customer already knows what they agreed to pay. You do the work. You document it. You leave the site better than you found it, and there is a photo record to prove that. No scrambling to cover up what the last crew left behind, no uncomfortable conversations about a price that changed overnight. The work is real, the expectations are clear, and when the job is done right, everyone knows it – because it’s in writing.
We’ve delivered more than 4,000 projects since 2007 under that same discipline. The crews who stay with us tend to be the ones who were already working that way and just needed a company that caught up to them.
Who We’re Looking For
- Kitchen and Bathroom Remodelers – Finish carpenters, tile setters, and general remodel techs who read a plan, follow a scope, and take the kind of pride in a grout line that a customer notices.
- Roofing Technicians and Crew Leads – Experienced roofers who understand sheathing, underlayment, and flashing details – and who know that the photo record we take on every job is just as important as the install.
- Window and Door Installers – People who understand rough openings, shimming, and proper sealing, and who move efficiently without cutting corners on weatherproofing or trim work.
- Fence and Hardscape Installers – Hands-on installers comfortable with post setting, concrete work, paver base preparation, and the kind of layout that looks right from the street.
- Home Addition and ADU Builders – Framers, general contractors, and skilled tradespeople who can work across a full build sequence and hold a project accountable to a written scope from foundation to final inspection.
- Dispatchers and Customer Service Coordinators – Organized communicators who can manage schedules, handle inbound calls with a live voice (we answer 24/7 and mean it), and keep customers informed without overpromising a single thing.
What We Offer

A Real Path, Not Just a Job
Rowan hires apprentices and turns them into lead technicians – not on a vague timeline, but through structured work alongside experienced crews on real projects. The training is built into how jobs are run here. You’re not watching videos in a break room; you’re on a job site where the lead tech explains the why behind every step, because that’s how the Haven Standard holds up across thousands of projects.
Work You Can Stand Behind
The frustration most experienced tradespeople bring with them from previous employers is the same: they were asked to rush, cut, or stay quiet when a scope changed and nobody told the customer. That doesn’t happen here. No work proceeds on a change until the change order is signed – not as a policy we recite, but as the administrative habit that has kept Rowan’s projects within a few percent of the agreed cost since 2007. When you hand a customer that photo record at the end of a job, it reflects on you. We make sure it’s something worth handing over.
National Backing, Local Crew
Rowan operates under The Haven Standard, which means local crews have access to sourcing relationships across more than fifty vetted brands – KraftMaid and Wellborn cabinets, GAF and Owens Corning roofing systems, Belgard and Techo-Bloc pavers, and more. That buying depth produces honest quotes rather than inflated ones, which makes your conversations with customers cleaner. You work with a local crew and the people in your area, but you’re not figuring out material sourcing on your own.
Steady Demand Across Seven Trades
Because Rowan serves seven residential construction trades – Kitchen Remodeling through Home Additions and ADUs – the work doesn’t dry up when one category slows down. A slow roofing month doesn’t stop the bathroom remodel backlog. Crews that can work across trades stay busier, and we actively develop that cross-trade flexibility in the people who want it.
Before
AfterNo Experience? Read This.
If you’ve spent years doing physical work – landscaping, moving, warehouse, automotive, demo – you already know how a job site operates: show up on time, move with purpose, don’t wait to be told twice. That baseline is harder to teach than any trade skill, and it’s the first thing we look for in someone coming in without a construction background.
What we teach: how to read a scope, how to prep a site, how to document a visit with photos, how to communicate with a customer without overpromising. You’ll spend your first months paired with a lead technician on actual Rowan projects, learning the trade in the context of how we actually run jobs – written scope, written price, no surprises. If you’re coachable and you show up ready to work, the path forward is there. Call us and we’ll tell you where it starts.
How to Apply

Call us at (470) 298-9650 or use the form below. When you reach out, tell us three things: where you’re based, what kind of work you’ve done (even if it wasn’t in construction), and when you’re available to start. Hiring is handled locally – your application goes to the Rowan location nearest you, so include your city or region. We keep it simple from there.
